cambodia trip

well..im back from cambodia! hahas..isnt that obvious..?!? anyone miss me?? hahas!

well..let me write a brief des of how i spent the day bah..

Day1

reached there ard 8am in the morning(singapore : 9am)

went to check in at phnom penh hotel

went for lunch at my dad friend's place

went back to the hotel

went back in the night for dinner(part of the wedding ceremony)

took a ride round the place

went back hotel

Day2

woke up at 7am(singapore 8am)

went for breakfast in the hotel

went to catch the wedding ceremony at my dad friend's place

had lunch at 1/2pm

went to the central market to look ard

-they sell lots of cookedbugs..its disgusting!

went back to the hotel

went for the wedding dinner at 5+pm at the restaurant

-their custom is so different from ours lah..haha. for us, the dinner will only start when all guest arrive, for them, as long as the table is fully filled with pple(10), they start serving the dishes..haha..n the poor bride&bridegroom are still welcoming the guests downstairs..they could even leave after finishing their dinner-.-...abit kinda impolite ah?

went back to the hotel

Day3

woke up ard 7am

set off for a 4hr journey ride to angkor wat after breakfast

spent the day there and on lah..

stayed at this damn freaky 'hotel'

Day4

set off ard 7am to go back to phnom penh

-had to catch a flight back in case there wasnt extra seats for the sunday flight

reach there and check into sunway hotel to get a rest from those long journeys

went for farewell dinner wit my dad friend's family at 'President Restaurant' -hahas

catch the flight back to singapore

back in singapore -home is still the best =)

unpack luggages and went to bed.

went for CO this morning.

was late. went ard 9am when it started at 8am.

hahas. went for lunch later with huiling, fusheng & julian

reached home ard 1 or 2+pm? then fell aslp while 3+pm and slept all the way to 7+pm

what a nice sleep! my bed is still the best! =)

theres a story that its the home of 12 princess. each had one to herself

the elephants that i didnt get to get a ride coz it was fully booked..=(

i climb up this alone! hahas! its a wonderful feeling!

though its illegal, they're not caught for overloading and many does this too

their most common public transport : toot toot?(sounds like this) -theres no public bus and taxis are rarely seen

the wedding ceremony at their hse

these 'stalls' sells petrol for vehicles

pple cld be seen standing or sitting there even when the vehicle is moving

their trishaw - like pushing a pram..hahas=)
